David Sborov

CEO

Mr. Sborov has a wide range of experiences in Real Estate Development, Agriculture and Entrepreneurial Business Opportunities. His real estate experience includes mobile home park and commercial real estate development as well as portfolio management.  His agricultural experience includes participation in the early development of the California Pistachio Industry, and the development of over 40 pistachio orchards. He currently has ownership interests in 18 pistachio orchard investments. His entrepreneurial business activities include the founding of Snapps Fine Fresh Produce, a venture backed retail chain of fresh produce and gourmet food stores, Golden West Farming Cooperative, an agricultural management and marketing company and DWS Rents, an automobile and equipment leasing company.

Mr. Sborov graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a retired California Real Estate Broker. He was the co-founder of Park Lane Real Estate, an affiliate of Sotheby’s.

Mr. Sborov has an active interest in philanthropic activities through the Sborov Family Foundation. Through Foundation grants he supports innovation in K-12 education and Health Care reform.

Alex Sborov

Director of Business Development

Ms. Sborov focuses on the GW Capital’s growth opportunities, sourcing and managing new investments. She also serves as a CEO of Pistash and the Sborov Family Foundation. Prior to joining GW Capital, Alex gained global operational experience at Nike’s world headquarters. Earlier in her career she held multiple financial analyst roles at investment firms in Texas and New York.

Ms. Sborov graduated with honoros with an MBA from the University of California’s Haas School of Business, where she was a C&J White Finance Fellow. She graduated suma cum laude from Texas Christian University, where she captained the Division I women’s golf team. She is a Neeley Fellow and Chancellor’s Leadership Program alumna.

Beyond work, Ms. Sborov actively serves with the Junior League and coaches for Girls on the Run. On weekends, she is often triathlon training, golfing, cooking, or spending time quality time with family.
