Farming Cooperative

GW Capital has had a long-term investment history in agriculture and more specifically in the California Pistachio Industry. For over thirty years, Golden West has acquired and managed over 40 different agricultural investments.  Over 30 years ago, Golden West made the decision to invest only in California Pistachio Orchards, and it was determined that the best and most efficient way to manage those businesses was through a cooperative business entity.  That entity is Golden West Farming Cooperative. 

Today, there are 18 independent pistachio orchard businesses who are members of the Golden West Farming Cooperative.  These businesses share a commonality of ownership by the Sborov Family members.

Golden West Farming Cooperative provides all of the farming, marketing, and administrative services to the 18 pistachio businesses.  The administrative office is located in San Ramon, California and the farm management headquarters is located in Madera, California.
